Big quake question: Is nature out of control?
Seismic shockers are to be expected, but planet seems to
be more active
This color-coded map shows
earthquakes that have been recorded over the previous seven days. The size
of the box indicates the quake's strength, and the color indicates how
recently the quake occurred. Notable quakes include the cluster of red boxes
in Chile, and the blue box indicating a seismic event in Japan.
When the Tsumani
struck Thailand in 2004, not one wild animal died. They sensed it was coming and
went up into the mountains. A sea lion herd that has been a tourist attraction
in San Francisco for over 20 years suddenly disappeared the end of December
2009. January 9 2010 a 6.5 earthquake struck in the ocean off of Northern
California.

200 rescued in one town, two bridges collapse; Irish castle,

COCKERMOUTH, England - Military helicopters winched dozens of
people to safety and emergency workers in inflatable boats rescued scores more
on Friday following the heaviest rainfall ever recorded in Britain. The flooding
swamped northern England's picturesque Lake District, where a police officer
died when a bridge he was on was swept away by surging waters.
Local House of Commons lawmaker Tony Cunningham said the flood
was "of biblical proportions," adding that "the scale and the force of the
devastation in Cockermouth is huge."
Britain has been hit by severe flooding
in recent years, raising questions about the impact of global warming.
Dairyland
Greyhound Racetrack in Kenosha , Wisconsin will be closing
on December 31, 2009.
900 Greyhounds will need to be adopted otherwise they will be euthanized, now is
a great time to consider adopting a Greyhound. They are very loving and laid
back. They don’t need the space people think they need. They are great for an
active family because they have been crated almost all their lives and they
sleep about 18 out of the 24 hours a day. They are just looking for someone to
love them and supply them with a warm bed!!!!
They test the dogs to see if they are cat friendly and or small dog friendly.
They also know if a dog should be a single dog or if they would be great in a 2,
3, or 4 dog house!!!
Please help get the word out; we only have 6 weeks to get this task done.

Group promoting climate skepticism has extensive
ties to Exxon-Mobil
By

A
group promoting skepticism over widely-accredited climate change
science has a web of connections to influential oil giant Exxon-Mobil,
Raw Story has found.
The organization is called the
Nongovernmental International
Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC), apparently named after the UN
coalition International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). An
investigation into the group reveals its numerous links to
Exxon-Mobil, a vehement opponent of climate legislation and
notorious among scientists for funding global warming skeptics.
"Exxon-Mobil essentially funds people to lie," Joseph Romm,
lauded climate expert and author of the blog
Climate Progress, told Raw
Story. "It's important for people to understand that they pay off the
overwhelming majority of groups in the area of junk science."
A mysterious light display
appearing over Norway last night has left thousands of residents in the north of
the country baffled.
Witnesses from Trøndelag to Finnmark compared the amazing sight to anything from
a Russian rocket to a meteor or a shock wave - although no one appears to have
mentioned UFOs yet.
The phenomenon began when what appeared to be a blue light seemed to soar up
from behind a mountain. It stopped mid-air, then began to circulate.
Within seconds a giant
spiral had covered the entire sky. Then a green-blue beam of light shot out from
its centre - lasting for ten to twelve minutes before disappearing completely.
Look at the advances in space technology humans have been able to develop in the
last 100 years.
Now think of an advanced race in another part of the universe where astro
engineers have been doing this for thirty thousand years.
Say an astro engineer named Fred, on a distant planet of advanced beings is able
to formulate the gases and cosmic materials that when put together expand and
form a galaxy.
Now Fred joins with some other alien beings and flies down to a new planet that
formed in his galaxy, and the engineers begin to program DNA and create species
to see how things develop here on Earth.
So we are living on a planet, in a galaxy, created by an astro engineer named
Fred.
