MERRY CHRISTMAS

MERRY KRISHMAS

MERRY ZEUSMAS

Take Your Pick

It's All The Same Story

The Greatest Story Never Told

I too enjoy the carols, the mystique of Christmas

and Santa Claus and all the rest.

BUT THERE IS ANOTHER SIDE

TO THE STORY

The Greatest Story Never Told.

That story is the one I wish to bring to you  today.

The true story of Christmas.

The story that has been told and has endured since

the beginning of recorded history.

THE ORIGINS OF OUR TRADITIONS

Where did all of the stories come from that have

formed so much of our traditional lives.

Christmas, Easter .

What is the origin of these stories?

Who wrote them?

What impact are they supposed to have on life

on planet earth?

 IT'S ALL ABOUT THE SUN

THE GIVER OF LIFE

The story is of God’s Sun.

It’s birth, it’s crucifixion, it’s three days

and three nights in the tomb.

Its resurrection in December and its ascension

to sit at the right hand of God in June.

Born of the virgin.

Crucifixion on the Cross.

Resurrection and ascension.

It is the story of the Sun of God.

It has always been the story of the Sun of God.

THIS IS GOD'S SON/SUN

THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD

The Sun is the giver of life.

The sun is the light of the world.

The sun , the giver of life, the light of the world

moves through the great circle of the 12.

That fact forms the basis of every belief that so many

cherish as Gods Holy Word, as doctrine,

as the foundation of their faith.

THE SUN/SON OF GOD

SURROUNDED BY THE TWELVE

The combination of the Sun and the 12 signs of the zodiac

is the foundation for the stories of Christmas and Easter

that we have totally misunderstood because they were

interpreted for us by superstitious people from the Dark Ages

who controlled the minds and activities of the

people of that time.

OUR RELIGIOUS TEACHERS

FROM THE DARK AGES

These were the kind of people who believed that the

earth was flat, that the earth was the center of the universe .

Totally ignorant people who formed the beliefs of generation

after generation for hundreds upon hundreds of years

even up to this very time.

The trust placed in the leadership of these superstitious

religious people has led to the wars and chaos that has

plagued the earth from its beginning.

THE SUN AND THE TWELVE

What is the true basis of the sun and the 12?

Where did that come from and when?

Who wrote all of this stuff that now passes off

as religious truth and doctrine?

THEY CALL IT FAITH

BUT IT IS FAITH IN THEM

When you blindly follow strong leaders, who have

their own plans in place, you wind up believing nonsense

which eventually has a negative impact on your life.

WHEN THE BLIND FOLLOW THE BLIND

THEY BOTH WIND UP IN A DITCH

CONSIDER IRAQ

Remember Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction,

they were not aligned with Al Queda,

and they had nothing to do with 911.

But our leaders showed us documentation and proof

that they did, and we all believed them.

Our government was totally wrong about that,

as our religion has been totally wrong about this.

If we had not invaded Iraq our government would still be

telling us these stories, and we would still be believing them,

and would live in fear of something that absolutely did not exist.

Such is the nature of government and religion.

TRADITION

We are pathetically conditioned to follow the leader.

Wherever that leader leads.

No matter how wrong it may be, as soon as it becomes

tradition by being repeated over and over and over,

then no one dare challenge it.

PETER PAN

There is a line from a song in the musical Peter Pan

which sums up the problem with the human condition

and why we have been prevented from understanding

truth that would have totally changed the world and

life upon it for the better.

It goes like this.

I won’t grow up, I don’t want to go to school,

just to learn to be a parrot and repeat some silly rule.

TWELVE DISCIPLES--TWELVE SIGNS

The Sun and the 12 is portrayed to us as Jesus and his 12 disciples.

But in reality it is the Sun and the 12 signs of the zodiac.

The great circle called the ecliptic through which the

Sun passes and touches the 12 constellations.

The Zodiac ("Circle of Animals") is the name given

to the band of the ecliptic encircling the earth.

It is like a belt in space, about 15 degrees wide, across

which the planets move and form their geometrical

relationships.

The Zodiac forms the stellar backdrop for the apparent

path of the Sun, called the plane of the ecliptic.

THE TWELVE PARTS BECOME

PART OF THE STORY

Astrologers divide the circle of the ecliptic into twelve parts,

each subdivided into 30 degrees, making 360 degrees in all.

The twelve divisions are called the Signs of the Zodiac.

Virgo, the Virgin (august/sept.)                The Virgin who conceives

Libra, the Scales (sept./oct.)

Scorpio, the Scorpion (oct./nov.)

Sagittarius, the Centaur (nov./dec.)        The stable horse

Capricorn, the Sea-Goat (dec./jan.)         The stable goat

Aquarius, the Water-Bearer (jan./feb.)    The man with the pitcher of water

Pisces, the Fishes (feb./mar)                  The fishermen

Aries, the Ram (march/april)                    The lamb of God

Taurus, the Bull (april/may)

Gemini, the Twins (may/june)                Castor and Pollux

Cancer, the Crab (june/july)

Leo, the Lion (july/august)                    The lion of Judah

We see some of the central figures of our belief system here.

The virgin, the man with the pitcher of water, the fish, the lamb

of God, Castor and Pollux the twins associated with the

Apostle Pauls boat, and the Lion of Judah.

The characters found in the Zodiac are found

in the Bible for a purpose.

IN THE COSMOS AND IN OUR HEADS

The Sun the light of the world.

The giver of life and the 12 disciples, the 12 tribes,

and as we shall see as we go along, the 12 within each

of us known as the 12 cranial nerves of the brain.

You see, the scientific principle here which has been

completely obscured by traditions and superstitions is that

the human brain mind duplicates the universal or cosmic

brain mind and once we understand that we can flow in a

harmony with nature or what we refer to as God.

Even the word God is nothing more then a play on words.

Good=God

Evil=Devil

WHERE DID THE ZODIAC COME FROM ?

This depends on who you wish to listen to.

Some say that the Zodiac dates back 6000 years to

Mesopatamia but others suggest that there is no evidence

that the Greek scheme of 12 zodiacal constellations existed

anywhere prior to its evolvement in Greece circa 500 BCE.

THE NUMBER  12

The number 12 figures prominently in the origin of the Zodiac.

The three major stages in the development of the zodiac were:

 (1) the establishment of 12 unequal constellations along

the ecliptic

 (2) the division of the ecliptic into 12 equal segments based

on the 12 constellations

 (3) the division of the 12 equal segments into

12 equal tropical signs.

THE BIBLE AND THE ZODIAC

The zodiac we have inherited is from the Greeks.

This is a very important fact to be considered since the

Bible which includes information relative to the Zodiac as

well as an emphasis on the number 12 was also

written by the Greeks

So we have the Zodiac in basically the form we know it

today from the Greeks, but what about the Bible?

BIBLICAL MYTH

In this early flowering of civilization, many religious

myths abounded, seeking to explain what was

then unexplainable.

From this context comes the oldest complete literary work

we have, the age of which we are certain,

dating back at least 7,000 years.

The Epic of Gilgamesh is a lengthy narrative of heroic mythology

that incorporates many of the religious myths of Mesopotamia,

and it is the earliest complete literary work that has survived.

Many of the stories in that epic were eventually incorporated

into the book of Genesis.

Borrowed from the Epic of Gilgamesh are stories of the creation

of man in a wondrous garden, the introduction of evil into a naive

world, and the story of a great flood brought on by the

wickedness of man, that flooded the whole world.

For religious leaders to ignore the involvement of ancient

mythology in the Bible is deliberate deception.

The Gilgamesh mythology of 7000 years ago is the basis

of the creation story as well as the Noahs ark story.

THE BIBLE, ZEUS, AND CHRISTMAS

We come now to the creation of the Bible as we know it

and the part that the worship of the Greek God Zeus plays

in the Christmas Story that we know and celebrate now.

THE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN IN EGYPT

The Bible both Old and New Testament were written in

300 BCE. BCE meaning before the Christian Era.

The writings were done in Alexandria Egypt.

Alexander The Great

Alexandria was not always known as Alexandria.

It became Alexandria when it was invaded and conquered

by the Greek warrior Alexander the Great.

JESUS CAME FROM ZEUS ?

We have the Jesus nativity story now because

Alexander the Great was a devout worshipper of the

God Zeus and turned Alexandria into a place which

honored the Greek Gods and brought together

Greek and Egyptian mythologies.

THEN CAME THE HELLENISTS

As the classic Greek myths and writings were being written,

and as the great library of Alexandria was being formed,

many people who were enamored with the Greek culture

and way of writings and myths etc. migrated into Alexandria.

Among them were people called Hellenists.

These were people who had come from the area of Palestine

which we know as the Jewish culture.

They favored the Greek writings and brought the history

of the early Hebrew or Habiru with them.

HOW DID OUR CHRISTMAS STORY ORIGINATE ?

Now let us see how the Jesus nativity and life story originated

out of the combination of cultures and mainly the Zeus

worship which was such a strong point with Alexander.

WE MUST CONSIDER THREE PERSONS

We are going to consider three persons here as we

look to develop the origins of our Christmas story.

We must consider Zeus , Krishna, and Jesus.

WHICH ONE CAME FIRST ?

The story of the nativity had to originate with one of them.

Did Zeus and Krishna copy the story from Jesus?

Did Jesus copy the story from Zeus and Krishna ?

Did Zeus copy from Krishna or Krishna from Zeus?

In other words where did the nativity story come from?

Who was first?

ZEUS AND KRISHNA WERE

MUCH EARLIER THEN JESUS

Well one thing is for certain both the Zeus story and

the Krishna story were significantly earlier

then the Jesus story.

The Jesus story comes to us from  about 2000 years ago.

But what about the Zeus story and the Krishna story

 Jesus 1 ADZeus500BCE

  Krishna 1200 BCE

KRISHNA WAS FIRST

THEN ZEUS

THEN JESUS

So there we have Krishna 1200 years before Jesus.

Zeus 500 to 400 years before Jesus.

Alexander was a worshipper of Zeus.

But since Zeus appeared about 700 years after Krishna

it would seem reasonable to suggest that it was the

Krishna nativity that came first.

LET'S EXPLORE THE FIRST "NOEL"

This is the Christmas season and the focus is

on the Birth of Jesus.

The little child born in a manger to Mary with Joseph

have to flee to Egypt to escape the wicked King Herod.

BUT THERE WAS ANOTHER COUPLE

AND A NEW BORN BABY

There is another couple we explore whose story dates

approximately 800 to 1200 years before the story

of the birth of Jesus.

This involves a woman by the name of Davaki

and a man by the name of Vasudeva.

In their story the woman is about to give birth to a baby

though strangely she had not had sexual intercourse.

She had had seven children before this one but

this one was different.

THE ANGELS PRAY FOR

THE BABY IN DAVAKI'S WOMB

As you look at this most ancient story you will

find many parallels to the Christmas Story we have

all celebrated year after year as our special

Christian Christmas nativity story.

THE KRISHNA NATIVITY STORY

A long time ago in ancient India, there lived King Ugrasen.

He had two children, prince Kansa and

princess Devaki.

Prince Kansa was evil by nature.

When Kansa grew up, he imprisoned his own father

Ugrasen and made himself king.

Soon, his sister Devaki was married to King Vasudeva.

However, after the wedding, Kansa heard a divine warning

from the sky, "O King! Your sister’s eighth son

will grow up to kill you."

After Kansa heard this, he was afraid.

Immediately he imprisoned his own sister Devaki

and her husband king Vasudev,

and kept them under continuous watch.

So we have the introduction of good vs evil and

that evil is brought to us in the person of a King,

namely King Kansa.

King Kansa

The story line is that King Kansa heard in a dream that

the 8th son of Davaki would overthrow and kill him.

Kansa places Davaki and her husband Vasudev in

prison under constant watch.

There in prison the 8th son is born to Devaki.

This is the 8th incarnation of Vishnu (God)

who is Krishna.

There is something very interesting that we see in

this birth which is the birth of Krishna.

It also reveals zodiacal influences as does the birth of Jesus.

Janmashtami

On the eighth day of the black half of Bhadra

(August - September) was born Shri Krishna,

the eighth Avtar or incarnation of Vishnu...

August-September is the month of Virgo the virgin.

THE GOD MAN IS BORN

And so this son of God is born in a prison.

There is however no way to escape the wicked King

who will kill him because of the warning he

received in his dream.

And how do the ancient stories say that this child

was conceived?

The nativity painting of Davaki and Vesudeva is very close

to that we are used to seeing of Joseph and Mary.

This painting shows Davaki with Vesudeva and

the Lord Vishnu with Krishna at his feet.

THE NIGHT KRISHNA WAS BORN

We are all enamored with the nativity story.

The shepherds, the wise men, the heavenly hosts

singing Glory to God in the highest.

Let us look at what was written about the night

Krishna was born.

Everyone was very happy and blissful.

It was as if all of Gokul, Vrajabhumi had drowned

in an ocean of blissfulness.

All the gopas and gopis came running to

see the newly born son.

( Gopi's are cow herd girls. Shepherds)

The demigods were dancing in the heavenly planets,

beating drums and singing,

"Hari Hari! Haribol! Haribol! Haribol! Haribol!"

The fourteen planetary systems resounded with the

sound of "Haribol!"

In the heavenly planets the deva-naris, the wives of the

demigods, were showering flowers.

All of the gopas and gopis were dancing blissfully.

Embracing one another with love and affection,

they were all drowning in an ocean of happiness.

THE WISE MEN

And how did the wise men figure into this story.

In our Nativity Story the wise men were

the Magi which is the root of the word magic.

They were astrologers and they were of the tribe

of Magi of Zoroaster.

In the Krishna story, the wise man appears

After eight months of pregnancy an astrologer told them,

"On the eighth day of the dark fortnight of this month of

Bhadra the child will take birth on a most auspicious tithi.

When this bhadra-krsnastami, the eighth day of the dark

fortnight of the month of Bhadra came, the nurse said,

"The child will be born today," Immediately a maternity

home was prepared and decorated nicely.

Flower garlands were hung all over.

Gates were also made out of various flowers.

Nurses came to take care of the mother and the child.

In the heavenly planets all of the demigods became joyful.

Indradeva was showering rain.

On that day everyone was drowning in an ocean of happiness,

for the Supreme Lord was about to take birth.

So we have the Magi astrologers in the Jesus story

and the astrologer in the Krishna story.

We have the shepherds in the Jesus story and the

cow herd girls in the Krishna Story

And now the child must be taken away so that

the wicked King cannot kill him.

THE CHILD MUST BE SAVED

FROM THE WICKED KING

The eighth child, Lord Krishna, was born to queen

Devaki at midnight in the prison.

As soon as the child was born, Lord Vishnu appeared in

divine form and the prison was filled with a dazzling light.

Both Devaki and Vasudev prayed to Lord Vishnu.

A divine message came to Vasudev soon after

the birth of Lord Krishna

Take this child across the Yamuna River to Gokul

and exchange him with Yashoda’s daughter.

You will return to the prison before anyone comes to

know about the birth of this child."

THE CHILD IS TAKEN AWAY

FROM THE EVIL KING

Here we see Vasudeva carrying Krishna across

the river to safety away from the wicked king Kansa.

GODS ANGELS OPENED

THE PRISON DOORS

But of course we know that Davaki and Vasudeva

were both in prison and under guard.

How could Vasudeva manage to get Krishna

out of the prison?

Vasudeva was very, very happy.

By the wonderful will of Lord Hari,

those who were guarding the prison all fell asleep.

All of the strong iron doors and shackles opened

and Vasudeva was free to leave.

ONLY THE NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED

Well there we have our nativity story.

Only it’s Hare Krishna and not Jesus Christ.

But it contains all of the elements of the story about Jesus

that came to the world about 700 years later,

complete with the virgin birth, the wicked king,

the heavenly hosts singing.

The taking of the child away to safety from the wicked king.

Here is the child of promise

     Jesus                                       Krishna

Here is the mother and father

Mary & Joseph            Davaki & Vasudeva

Here are the mothers

Mary                           Davaki

The wicked kings who tried to kill the child

   King Kansa  King Herod

Taking the child to safety from the wicked King

     Krishna                                 Jesus

So there we have two saviors of the world.

Jesus and Krishna.

Both born to women who had not conceived

via sexual intercourse.

Both had to be taken away because of the wicked

Kings who wanted to kill them.

WHAT PROMPTED THE KINGS

TO WANT TO KILL THE BABY ?

The last comment I would like to make on both of

these nativities is the writings that surround the reasons

why the two evil kings Herod and Kansa wanted to kill

the babies Jesus and Krishna.

After the wedding, Kansa heard a divine warning from the sky,

"O King! Your sister’s eighth son will grow up to kill you."

In the time of King Herod, after Jesus was born in

Bethlehem of Judea, wise men from the East came

to Jerusalem, asking,

"Where is the child who has been born king of the Jews?"

So here we have the two kings hearing messages about the baby.

Herod heard that the baby would be born King of the Jews and

so he had to deal with that, and Kansa heard that the baby would

grow up to kill him and he had to deal with that.

THE SAME STORY

DIFFERENT NAMES

FOR DIFFERENT TIMES

So we have the same story, with variations on the theme ,

concerning the birth of two babies who are divinely born

God men sent to save the world.

Krishna’s story 700 to 1200 years before the Jesus story.

HOLD ON

THERE'S ANOTHER STORY

Another nativity story and this story is written sometime

between the period of the Krishna story and the Jesus story.

About 300 to 500 BC.

Another baby is born.

Another God man is born, another child of promise is born.

Another woman will give birth to the God Man

and her name is Rhea

Rhea

THE GOD MAN BORN TO RHEA IS ZEUS

This is the birth as a child of the God Zeus.

BUT THE EVIL KING WANTED

TO KILL THE CHILD

(WHERE HAVE WE

HEARD THAT BEFORE ?)

Alas there was an evil force about at the

time of the birth of Zeus.

This force was known as King Cronus

of the Golden Age.

   King Cronus

This is what the ancient story says of

Cronus and Zeus.

Cronus was married to Rhea who had borne him children.

But he was afraid of the children because he had been

told that one of them would overthrow him.

Not all was well for Cronus, as it was fated that he would

be overthrown by one of his own children.

To prevent this from happening he began to swallow

his newborn, taking them at birth then swallowing them whole,

retaining them inside his own body where they

could do him no harm.

ANOTHER CHILD OF PROMISE

AND ANOTHER WICKED KING

So here we have another God man coming to the world

as a baby who must be saved from a wicked King.

Rhea did not like the thoughts of losing all her children,

and with the help of Gaia she saved Zeus from this fate.

Rhea wrapped a stone in Zeus' swaddling clothes which

Cronus took and immediately swallowed

thinking it was the child.

THE BABY ZEUS IS TAKEN

AWAY FROM THE EVIL KING

Gaia and Rhea's plan worked well and the baby Zeus

was taken to Crete, and there, in a cave on Mount Dicte,

the divine goat Amaltheia suckled and raised

the infant Zeus.

Three mothers, Mary, Davaki, Rhea

Three evil kings, Herod, Kansa, Cronus

Three God men born to the earth as babies,

Jesus, Krishna, Zeus

Three escapes from the evil king.

Krishna across the raging river,

Jesus to Egypt,

Zeus to Crete

A VARIATION ON THE THEME

FOR EVERYONE

One main theme and then variations on the theme.

People will fight and scream over whom they believe

is the true incarnation.

Which nativity they feel is true.

In our culture the nativity of Jesus is proclaimed.

THEY'RE ALL THE SAME PERSON

But the truth is that Jesus is Krishna,

Jesus is Zeus.

And Zeus and Krishna are Jesus.

The stories tell a very simple truth.

DECODING THE MYTH OF ALL THREE

THE CHILD WITHIN YOU

The child of promise will be born of the virgin.

That child will be destroyed by the system unless

he is taken away from the place of the evil.

That child within you must be taken to the place of

meditation on the right side where there is no human thought.

Where the evil of the system does not exist.

THE POWER OF THE LOWER MIND

The wicked king is the power of the lower mind which

will try and destroy this new life inside of you.

Whether this be religion, government, family or friends.

The people of earth must bow to the religion

or they must bow to the system.

They cannot deal with the child born within you.

The system of the world is portrayed by

Herod, Kansa, and Cronus.

WHAT PART DOES THE

ZODIAC PLAY IN ALL OF THIS ?

We talked earlier concerning these stories being

authored in Alexandria by Greek mythologists

and Hellenists.

A very important part of the story centers

around the Zodiac.

Krishna is born in the time of August September.

The 9th month. Why?

Because it is the time of the virgin Virgo.

Jesus is born of the Virgin.

It is the 9th month.

THE MYTHICAL SUN GOD

The Jesus theme as the mythical sun god (888)

uses the Zodiac to mythologically present

the Christ or Sun God, Jesus.

Born of a Virgin in the 9th month Aug-Sept.

The same time that Krishna was born.

The birth is of a virgin because it is the time of Virgo

as was the birth of Krishna.

THE CHILD IS BORN IN A STABLE

AMONG THE ANIMALS

The Jesus Story then has him born in a stable which

is appropriate between  November and December,

the horse and the goat, Sagittarius and Capricorn.

DECEMBER 25TH MEANS

MUCH MORE AS WELL

There is something very interesting about Jesus

birth being celebrated on Dec 25th.

The reason for that is of course the nativity

and the horse and goat manger etc.

But mainly it is because Dec 25th is

the end of the winter solstice.

THE PLACE OF CRUCIFIXION

The Sun moves through the area of the constellation

Crux in the Southern Hemisphere at this time of the year.

Crux is the Southern Cross.

That is the crucifixion.

Then the Sun is in the bowels of the earth in the

Southern Hemisphere 3 days and 3 nights in the

solstice which is Jesus three days and 3 nights in the tomb.

On Dec 25th the Sun comes out of the tomb of the solstice

and begins the right ascension where it sits at the East

or right hand .

Thus December 25th which we celebrate as the birth of

Christ is also the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus

which we observe in March and April.

THE ZODIAC WHEEL THEN

MOVES TO AQUARIUS

THE WATER MAN

The next part of Jesus life is fixed on the

astrological sign of Aquarius.

Jesus is baptized by the waterman John

The great zodiacal wheel continues to turn

and the Bible stays in sync with it.

THE NEXT IS PISCES THE FISH

The Zodiac turns to Pisces the fish.

Jesus selects his disciples from among fishermen

and tells them, I will make you fishers of men.

NEXT ARIES, GOD'S LAMB

The Zodiac then moves to Aries.

 The time of the spring.

Aries the Lamb of God that takes away the cold of the winter.

Jesus the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.

LEO, THE LION OF JUDAH

THE FINAL POINT

Finally the Biblical trip around the great wheel

of the Zodiac concludes in Leo the Lion .

The Book of Revelation provides the final title to

Jesus as the Lion of Judah.

TRULY THE GREATEST STORY

NEVER TOLD

The most beautiful story of life within and without that

has been told in various ways with names changed to

accommodate cultures all over the world.

The story of the child who is to be born within each one of us

that that child may grow to overcome the violent systems of

government and religion that has caused such pain, suffering,

death and destruction on this most beautiful creation

of God, planet earth.

MERRY CHRISTMAS   MERRY KRISHMAS  MERRY ZEUSMAS

Whichever you wish, let it be.

Keep the child within you safely connected to

the cosmic light and away from the control

of the systems of the world.
