MILWAUKEE — About 550 people are asking for restitution for alleged sexual abuse by clergy in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee — more than in any of the other U.S. dioceses that have filed for bankruptcy protection, according to a lawyer involved in the Milwaukee case.

NASA finds, like other major scientific research, that greenhouse gases generated by human activities -- not changes in solar activity -- are the primary cause of global warming.NASA researchers updated calculations of the Earth's energy imbalance, which is the difference between the amount of solar energy absorbed by the Earth's surface and the amount returned to space as heat. They found that despite unusually low solar activity from 2005 to 2010, the planet continued to absorb more energy (half a watt more per square meter) than it returned to space during that time period.

"This provides unequivocal evidence that the sun is not the dominant driver of global warming," said James Hansen, director of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, who led the research released Monday.

On the Wall Street Journal's opinion page, 16 scientists recently said there's no need for drastic action to "decarbonize" the world's economy. "Perhaps the most inconvenient fact is the lack of global warming for well over 10 years now," they wrote without providing data.

Not so, according to U.S. government records. In December, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported that all 11 years of the 21st century so far (2001–2011) rank among the 13 warmest in the 132-year period of record.

I am going to take a little license here and drift into a bit of discussion involving our present economic condition which of course was predicted by Pacal Votan to culminate in 2012.

Years ago a US Senator by the name of Joseph McCarthy held hearings involving prominent people in movies etc, who may have said something that indicated they had communist sympathies. Those people were blacklisted and could not get work.

The agency holding the hearings was the House Un American Activities Committee

Today American Corporations are building the most powerful Communist Empire, imaginable in communist China, as well as in communist Viet Nam where 56,000 Americans were killed by the same government that American businesses are building into a tourist mecca with hotels, spas, and exotic resorts.

Isn't it amazing how times change.

The USA once was fighting communism and now USA corporations are building communist empires in different parts of the world.

What it proves is t it's the money.
And where are those American dollars going in Communist China?

While we worry about terrorists with bombs in their shoes and their underwear, we are financing a Communist nuclear power that we may one day have come against us.
