EVERYBODY IS AN ATHEIST !
Oh, can you hear the screaming over that statement?
Christians are literally fuming smoke over their computers.
"How dare you say I am an atheist.
I believe in the one true God".
Ok. If you are a Christian, and I ask you if you believe that the
Hindu Hare Krishna is God, you say, "no, of course not".
But what if Hare Krishna really is God.
Then you don't believe in God.
You believe in a story about something else that someone told you.
Thus you are an atheist because you do not believe in God.
If you are a Hindu, and I ask you if you believe that the Christian God
is the one true God, you say. "no of course not".
But what if the Christian God is the one true God.
You believe in a story about something else that someone told you.
Thus you are an atheist because you do not believe in God.
If a Jew does not believe Allah is God, and Allah turns out to be God,
then the Jew is an atheist because he/she does not believe in God .
If the Muslim does not believe that the God of the Jews or Christians
is God, and the God of the Jews or Christians turns out to be God,
then the Muslim is an atheist because he/she does not believe in God.
Our belief in God is simply based on where we are born,
and what our culture taught us.
Even if what we were taught is totally wrong, tradition
forces us to believe it.
That same culture also taught us that the Gods believed
by other cultures, is not the true God.
But if the other culture God is God, then our culture is all atheists.
It seems as if we have created God in our image and likeness.
Since everybody believes that the other God is not God.
If the other God turns out to be God then everybody is an atheist.
Or maybe all of the Gods of all cultures is not God, which means,
since we believe in one or the other of them, and do not believe
in the God that is not part of one of the cultures, we are all atheists.
Oh boy !
